What is Stolorado?

Stolorado is an eSTOL competition held in the mountains of south west Colorado and is organized once every 2 months. The course changes for every iteration of the the event to make sure its a challange every time. We will head back to some of the older courses from time to time to experience some of the most exciting courses again

Who and Why?

The Stolorado Competition is organized by me  Aymie_Cutie. I got inspired to host my own eSTOL competition after joining in on the arkenstol eSTOL competition hosted by Oohcando on twitch. After a while of searching for a location to host the competition at i came across the south west colorado mountains and found some amazing bush spots and after creating a few bush strips in the area i decided to go for it and built the first Stolorado Stol Course

The Community

Welcoming to all

Stolorado has a small but growing and welcoming Community on Aymie_Cutie's discord. The Community is open to anyone no matter what gender, sexuality or ethnicity.
The only exception to this is that we do not welcome toxicity and people under the age of 13, the last one being due to discords terms of service

Aircraft Selection

At the moment we run the competition in 2 classes each made up of 1 plane we have the Freeware Class and the Payware Class

The Got friends Carbon Cub

A fast, lightweight aircraft manufactured by Cub Crafters. Very nimble but tricky to control while landing and taking off.

The Got Friends Double Ender

A payware aircraft. Based on a one of real world bush plane recreated for MSFS. with its open cockpit you get amazing views during your runs

Support The Event

the event is free

Eventhough the event is free to compete in doesn't mean its completly free to run. Keeping the website up and running costs money and developing everything needed for the event (website, Logo's, Info folders, 3d assets, the course, etc.) costs allot time effort and concentration.  So if you enjoy the event and want to support it more then just watching or competing theres is 2 options to help me out
